Roboknight 2007 Mystery Geocoin

Cool coin but only on Ebay... It's shaped like a question mark after a mystery cache. I guess there is "a hidden black light message on both sides of the coin too. Future Crockhunter coin gets facelift

First Italian baby geocoin

One the front side there is a 3D picture of Nicole, the signature member of "The 'Nicole' Team". Nicole appears to be a big baby... toddler even. On the back side there is the logo of the Italian website and the "tracking at www.geocaching.com" label, followed by the tracking number. The coin has its own icon, and 275 coins have been minted: 25 Two-tones (not for sale), 50 Antique Gold, 75 Antique Silver and 125 Silver.

While I am in the process of a website restyling, I have set up a temporary page with the final sample (not artwork) of all the 4 different samples and the numbers. You can see that at: Nicole's Geocoins

You can check these out here. Each metal is a different price, but they cost about $8 plus shipping. The actual sale will take place in a few days here.

Geocoin Fest Poker Challenge

There will be a poker event at Geocoin Fest. Everyone who enters gets a cool plaquerd coin. The silvers, as pictured, are LE's limited to most likely the finalists. The bronze are the regular editions, but both are very limited. When the tournament winds down to the last table, the finalists will play with the real GCC coin chips. The winner will take all! These were designed by Chris Mackey and look awesome. If we are lucky the winner will sell or trade the coins to the community :). The MoopAlong will be overseeing the poker challenge and would probably be the one to ask if you wanted to get involved in the event. Here is a link to their GC.com contact area.

River City & Team Moagy Personal

Chris Mackey dropped me a line today and was boasting about some great new coin he was working on. After permission from the owners he sent it over and all I can say is COOL! Chris can explain it better than I can so here it is in his own words:

*Quoted text*
The full particulars are yet to be announced, but currently it is slated to be a Sequentially Numbered and non-trackable coin.
We're anticipating antique finishes with little or no enamel instead relying on deep recessions and ascensions in the metal design. The works of Andrew Goldsworthy, early European metalwork and Japanese Iconography are all sources of inspiration in this coin. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it. Rivercity and Team Moagy put a lot of thought into what they wanted represented in their design including the merging of the two great rivers near there home, the flourishing local egrets that enjoy those waterways, the Native American history of the area, local flora and their personal admiration of the classic designs in the compass roses of nautical navigation. They have been a joy to work with and I'm really looking forward to seeing the results of their project to build their ideal
signature item. Take a look...
*End Quote*

I really enjoy personals that say something about their owners and this coin seems to do that very well! All I can say is YES I do like it so where and how much! :D

After many problems in preproduction it looks like the Triple Dragon coins will happen after all. They look neat! It's funny that dragon geocoins are always popping up. C&P sale going strong

It looks like there are plenty of coins for all. I have to admit I was surprised with the $10 per coin price tag and the nearly $3 to ship one coin first class. These are beautiful coins though, and I'm sure well worth the price for many. You can be a part of the action here.

Crake's Three Roses preorder begins
